Where we work

Areas We Serve

KC Pest Management is based in Motueka and covers the wider Tasman region — from Nelson through to Golden Bay. Local knowledge of each area's climate, housing stock and common pests means a plan built for your property, not a generic treatment.

Also servicing

Nelson

Nelson's mix of character villas in the older suburbs and denser inner-city cafes and apartments means we see a real range of pest issues here — borer in the heritage housing stock, and cockroach and ant pressure in the food and hospitality areas around the city centre. We service both residential and commercial properties throughout Nelson.

Richmond

Richmond's rapid growth means a lot of newer builds alongside older established properties, so pest pressure varies street to street. New subdivisions bordering farmland tend to see more rodent activity moving in from paddocks, while established gardens closer to the town centre are common spots for wasp nests over summer.

Stoke

Sitting between Nelson and Richmond, Stoke is mostly residential family homes, along with a handful of local schools. It's also home to well-known Nelson names like Pic's Peanut Butter and McCashin's Brewery. We treat the usual range of household pests here — ants, spiders, and wasps are the most common call-outs — as part of our regular run through the area.

Hira

Hira's semi-rural, bush-edge properties mean a different pest mix to the more built-up areas — rodents moving in from surrounding farmland and bush, and wasp nests in sheds, wood piles, and outbuildings are what we're most often called out for here.

Brightwater

Brightwater's smaller-town feel and surrounding rural properties bring rodent and wasp callouts through spring and summer, along with borer checks in the town's older homes. We're out this way regularly as part of our wider Tasman run.

Wakefield

Wakefield's inland location, surrounded by orchards and forestry blocks, means rodent and borer pressure tend to be the main concerns for homeowners here. We service Wakefield as part of our regular Tasman coverage.

Takaka

Takaka and wider Golden Bay sit over the hill from the rest of our service area, but we regularly make the trip and welcome enquiries from the region. Golden Bay's lifestyle blocks and rural properties see plenty of rodent and wasp activity, and the damp native bush surrounds make moss and lichen treatment a common request on roofs and decking.
